LGBTQIA+ Affirming Therapy
Working nearly exclusively with my LGBTQ+ community, I help people eliminate old patterns that control their thoughts, beliefs, actions, and self-identity. We remove barriers that hide their natural strengths and intrinsic wonder. I lead my clients to achieve their highest potential by building their confidence and teaching them to effectively advocate for themselves.
I’m Corinne, a licensed psychologist and a fervent LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community (LQI), I possess an intrinsic understanding of the challenges and lived experiences of the individuals I work with. I advocate for the importance of connecting with a therapist who embodies our community’s perspectives, believing that this alignment is crucial for effective therapeutic outcomes. These connections foster stronger bonds and minimize the potential for bias or misunderstandings that might arise with cisgender or heterosexual providers.
If you’re searching for a therapist who doesn’t just understand but also shares the experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community, I encourage you to schedule a session with me. Together, we can explore your path to healing and self-discovery in a supportive and understanding environment. Learn more about my approach »

LGBTQIA+ Affirming Treatment From An LQI Provider
There is a notable lack of mental health professionals who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community and understand that therapy involves more than just issues related to sexual orientation or gender identity.
Finding a therapist can be challenging, and concerns about their understanding, supportiveness, and safety may not be clear until after a few sessions. Biases often appear subtly, such as through microaggressions or misgendering. Having worked in both progressive and conservative regions, I am well-acquainted with the challenges our community faces and the increasing threats to our rights. My goal is to build trust with you, ensuring a therapy environment where you feel safe, accepted, and validated.
My Experience
As a Licensed Psychologist, my background includes extensive work in LGBTQIA+ centers across the nation's most affirming regions. I have supported hundreds of individuals, couples, and polypods, many of whom were navigating their transition journey. As a queer therapist, I prioritize understanding and safety in every session, ensuring a supportive and affirming therapeutic experience.
Through my PSYPACT license, I provide accessible and affirming mental health care in 40 US States. My extensive experience at various LGBTQIA+ centers includes providing affirming care, leading group therapy, and managing community outreach initiatives. This background equips me with the empathy and insight necessary to support a diverse client base effectively.
