For pilots who need the Gender Dysphoria Status Report
As a licensed clinical psychologist, FAA/HIMS trained aviation psychologist, and pilot, I meet the WPATH criteria required to complete the FAA Gender Dysphoria Mental Health Status Report paperwork. The paperwork has to be completed by a qualified provider and has to meet the FAA's requirements. That is what this evaluation does.
This evaluation is for pilots and pilot applicants who need a Gender Dysphoria Mental Health Status Report to satisfy FAA aeromedical certification requirements. That applies whether this is your first time completing the paperwork or a required follow-up evaluation.

Mental Health History
A thorough review of your mental health history as it relates to FAA certification requirements.
Gender Dysphoria History
A review of your history of gender dysphoria consistent with WPATH criteria the FAA requires.
Required Paperwork
Completion of the FAA Gender Dysphoria Mental Health Status Report documentation.
The evaluation lasts up to 120 minutes, during which I'll thoroughly review your mental health history and history of gender dysphoria with you.

An FAA/HIMS Trained Psychologist Who's Also a Pilot
I understand the aeromedical certification process from the pilot's side as well as the clinical side. My FAA/HIMS training covers the FAA's aeromedical standards and special issuance process, and I write reports that are clear and complete for the FAA.
One fee covers the evaluation and the paperwork
The evaluation fee is $550, which includes the assessment and paperwork completion.

Questions about the gender dysphoria evaluation
Is this a therapy session or a one-time evaluation?
This is a one-time evaluation to complete the FAA Gender Dysphoria Mental Health Status Report paperwork. If you're also looking for therapy, that is a separate service.
How long does the evaluation take?
Up to 120 minutes. In that time we go through your mental health history and your history of gender dysphoria together.
What criteria do you use?
I meet the WPATH criteria required to complete the FAA Gender Dysphoria Mental Health Status Report paperwork.
Can this be completed by video?
Yes. The evaluation is conducted over secure, HIPAA-compliant video, available to residents of more than 45+ states through my PSYPACT license.
