Gender Dysphoria Assessment
Gender questions rarely arrive alone. Autism, trauma, anxiety, and plain human doubt can all tangle into the same knot, and untangling them takes more than a single visit. An extended assessment gives you thoughtful, clear findings — not a rushed conclusion.
What This Assessment Is For
- Teens and adults who want a thorough, professional evaluation of what they're experiencing
- Families seeking evaluation and understanding together
- Parents who want a careful, unhurried look at their child's experience — including when a shift in gender identity has felt sudden or fast-moving — rather than a rushed conclusion in either direction
- Documentation for family, school, providers, or your own records
How It Works
This is a multi-session evaluation, not a single-visit assessment. Across several clinical interviews, conducted entirely online, we cover developmental history, mental health history, the progression of your gender questions over time, and any co-occurring factors — autism, trauma, anxiety, and other conditions that can complicate or resemble gender dysphoria. Family involvement is included where it's appropriate and welcome.
Every evaluation is conducted and signed by me personally. You get clear findings you can act on, whatever direction they point.
Sessions run over a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, available to clients in 45+ states through my PSYPACT license.
